Man Utd 7 Blackburn 1

Dimitar Berbatov
BerbaTOP..the 5 GOAL hero!!

Dimitar Berbatov joined an elite group of Premier League sharpshooters with a five-star performance as Manchester United demolished Blackburn 7-1 at Old Trafford.
Since the new league was formed in 1992, only Andy Cole, Alan Shearer and Jermain Defoe have scored five in a single game.
Berbatov joined that band on Saturday, scoring twice before half-time, then three more times after the break as United finally rid themselves of the shackles that have halted their progress this season.
It took the Bulgarian to 12 goals for the season and completed United's first seven-goal haul since the Champiosn League thrashing of Roma three years ago.
More importantly, it sent them powering to the top of the table for the first time this season, giving a significant boost to their goal difference as well at the start of a month that includes meetings with both Arsenal and Chelsea in a potentially pivotal seven-day December period.
Seven days ago, Berbatov did not even make the bench for the victory over Wigan. Ferguson declined to come up with a plausible reason for omitting his record signing, stating only that he had been left out.
In midweek came an admission from the United boss that he was responsible for changing his team formation too much, leading to a dip in form by the Bulgarian, who had carried his side through the difficult early weeks of the campaign during Wayne Rooney's malaise.
So, Rooney himself was not the only one to be glad he is back.

-reports from soccernet.com

Rangers 0 Man Utd 1 (UCL)

 Rooney's  BACK!!!
Wayne Rooney scored a late penalty - only his third goal in 23 matches - to send Manchester United into the round-of-16 in the Champions League with a 1-0 victory over Rangers at Ibrox. Just when it looked as though the Scottish side were set to frustrate United for the second time in the tournament, Rooney struck after Fabio had been felled by Steven Naismith.
All eyes were on Rooney - making his first start since a dramatic U-turn over his future - before kick-off, but he was a peripheral figure during a first half that followed the pattern of the previous match between the sides. Rangers set up camp on the edge of their own area and invited United to find a way through the imposing wall of blue shirts.
They couldn't manage it in the opening 45 minutes - the closest they came was when Rooney glanced a header onto the crossbar - and the best two chances fell to the home side, as Kenny Miller - twice - failed to show the composure required to steer the ball past Edwin van der Sar. First the Scottish striker looped a header wide of the post when unmarked six yards out, then he poked a shot at the Dutch 'keeper's legs when clean through on goal.
The stage was set for United to make a statement of intent in the second half as they looked to ignite a season that has yet to scale the heights. They laid down a marker with two dangerous attempts in the opening 15 minutes as Carrick and Berbatov stung the palms of Scottish 'keeper Allan McGregor, reportedly a target for Sir Alex Ferguson.
But United were unable to sustain that momentum, with wild attempts on goal from well outside the penalty area betraying their difficulties. Just when it seemed as though they would be forced to settle for a draw, Naismith's boot made contact with Fabio's face in the area as he stooped to head the ball. Rooney scored the spot-kick, meaning United will now top the group if they avoid defeat in their final game at home to Valencia.
-reports from espn.co.uk
Yeahhaaaa....Wayne Rooney is back with a goal and he played with hunger!!! So lepas ni Man Utd boleh la relax sikit coz telah layak utk ke pusingan kedua Februari nanti!!Hope to see more of Wayne Rooney after this game..Glory glory Man Utd!!

Sir Alex Dulu-dulu...

Recognise the fresh-faced Scot grinning at the camera? Young Alex Ferguson was a happy man on this day in 1963 - the first time he made his mark in football.
Struggling to establish himself as a centre-forward with St Johnstone reserves and seriously considering giving up football to join his family in Canada, 21-year-old Ferguson was called on to play against Rangers just before Christmas.
Sir Alex Ferguson
He's always back-page news: 21-year-old Ferguson after his hat-trick against Wednesday night's opponents
The former Queen's Park forward scored a hat-trick at Ibrox. The papers were full of the story and he became a full-time pro the next season with Dunfermline.
It was the first of many back pages for the legendary 68-year-old Manchester United manager who returns to Rangers tonight - one of six clubs he went on to represent in a playing career which saw him score 170 goals in 317 appearances.
Ferguson switched to management in 1974 with East Stirlingshire, followed by spells at St Mirren and Aberdeen before being appointed at Old Trafford in 1986.
Back in the Sixties, the only hairdryer Fergie needed was for that splendid fringe.

Before Sir Alex jadi the GREATEST manager in history of EPL (English Premier League)..Sir Alex sebenarnya dah famous zaman muda2 dulu kat SPL (Scottsih Premier League)!! Rupa2nya dia seorang penyerang muda yg berkaliber n berpotensi tinggi menjadi penyerang berbisa di era nya dulu..tapi memang dah takdir dia menjadi seorang manager yang berjaya!! So apa pendapat korang tentang Sir Alex di zaman mudanya ni..hensem tak?? ekekeke...GGMU!!

United Fans Will be Thankful for This...!!!

man united cupcakes2
1. Being level on points with Chelsea despite throwing away leads and drawing SEVEN times. After the blues rushed out off the gates while we sputtered along, it appeared that we would spend the season fighting off City and Arsenal for 2nd. Things look much better now. I’m not saying that we now look like favorites, but it feels like a more level competition.
2. Healthy defenders. Remember when we had to play Carrick, Fletcher and de Laet at the back last season. What a crisis that was. Compare that to this season where we’re lamenting Jonny’s loss of form and been fortunate to have Rio back for an extended spell without injury (thus far).
3. Chicharito – We now have a forward who is okay coming off the bench without complaining and is more than capable of grabbing us a goal when we need it. We never had that last year and when Rooney went down in March, we had the desperate feeling that noone was going to be able to score for us.
4. Stability in management. Without intending to knock any clubs, it’s comforting to know that the club stands behind our management and doesn’t have other managers on speed dial when the team hits a rocky patch. When people in our coaching/management staff leave, it’s on good terms and usually to take on a head coach job somewhere else.
5. Rooney re-signing. Even if he does leave us in the summer or in 2 years or so, we have him committed long enough that he would command a sizable transfer fee should the event of his leaving ever transpire.
6. Scholes still going strong and being absolutely masterful in midfield. Maybe one of the reasons SAF won’t buy someone to replace him yet is because it gives him leverage in persuading Scholes to come back and re-sign these 1 year extensions every year.
7. And finally, Sir Alex Ferguson – still going strong, still distancing himself from retirement. Stating the obvious, but without him, our team wouldn’t be what it is today. If he had been let go after a less than promising start with the club, what kind of state would we be in? If he had decided to call it quits after the treble in 99, where would we be now?
-thanx to manutd.offside.com
As a United fan i agreed with the author of this article!! Even there is a low moment in this season that we can complaint about but there is always a bright side in everything..and this articles are examples of it!! United are still UNBEATEN..Rooney's staying and Sir Alex still going ON and ON and ON!! So what do you guyz think?? Do you agree with this 7 facts??

United To Sign Leeds Whizkid..??!!

Another youngsters to United
Manchester United are raiding Leeds United for youngster Elliot Kebbie.
The People says United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is also finally set to land Leeds wonderboy Elliot Kebbie after an 18-month pursuit.
United have agreed a £500,000 deal to take the 17-year-old midfielder from Elland Road.

-from tribalfootball.com
Siapakah Elliot Kebbie ni?? Aku sendiri pun tak berapa pasti..bila aku googling nak cari info pasal dia rupa2nya Sir Alex dah track dia since last year!! Baru masuk 17 tahun kira bakal pelapis bahagian midfield la kalau betol dia jadi ke United..i like it!! Sir Alex want to build a team full of youngsters..a 3rd generation of Fergie Fledglings maybe?? Lets hope so...GGMU!!

Fergie's Top 7 Fights..!!

7. In the Red Corner: Rafael Benitez

Rafa and Sir Alex
Rafa is the latest manager to go head-to-head with Alex.  Liverpool, had begun 2008/09 with a serious challenge to the Premiership title for the first time in years.  Fergie ‘just happened’ to comment that he felt the fixtures were favouring the Merseysiders.  Cue a full-bloodied attack from Benitez.  Rafa first disputed the fixture claim, announcing that Liverpool had been discriminated in the past stating “two years ago we were playing a lot of early kick-offs away on Saturdays when United were playing on Sundays. And we didn’t say anything.
Benitez then accused the FA of letting Sir Alex walk all over them.  In particular, he claimed that Sir Alex was not being prosecuted for improper conduct against referees, when every other manager would and this in the midst of a Respect campaign.  The referees were also supposedly also in cahoots with the Red Devils, ignoring controversial incidents where Man U may have been negatively impacted.  The following game saw Liverpool held to a no-scoring draw against Stoke with claims that Rafa’s comments had distracted the team from the job.  Sir Alex patronisingly responded that he felt pleased Liverpool had made a good start but that he does not expect them to be challenging for the title in the last month.  “Chelsea have experience and have been our main rivals for the past five years.“, Alex said.  Since the rant, there has been a 17 point swing between Liverpool and Man United.
Result: A good opening bout from the Spanish boy but he’s gone too soon and is fading fast.  Fergie the odds on favourite to win.

6. The Defensive Rock: Jaap Stam

Alex shields Jaap Stam - for a short while
If you believe the hype, nothing happened here.  Sir Alex just thought Staam had lost a little bit of pace after an injury.  A good offer came in and the Red Devils were duty bound to accept it.  Only…
Staam was a key player in the three seasons under Sir Alex.  If a decline in his playing level was the main factor, then how come the ageing and, quite frankly, past it mid-30s defender of Laurent Blanc was his replacement?  And how come after Manchester, this supposedly finished player then went on to play for Lazio, AC Milan and Ajax?  And crucially, how come all this happened in the immediate aftermath of Jaap publishing an autobiography claiming he had been tapped up by Manchester United, whilst at PSV Eindhoven?
Result: Alex Ferguson leaves the big defender reeling after a series of punches to the solar plexus with lightning fast speed.  A hands down win that Jaap, despite success elsewhere, has still expressed regret about.

5. The Right-Hand Man: Brian Kidd

Happier times for Fergie and Kidd
Alex Ferguson and Brian Kidd were an awesome duo.  Having replaced his former assistant, Archie Knox, Kidd joined Fergie for an astonishing run of success, including four titles.  Sir Alex deemed Brian so crucial to the club, that he persuaded Kidd not to take over as boss at his beloved Everton but to remain at Old Trafford.  So it was surprising that Sir Alex made some derogatory comments about his management ability when Kidd left to take over at Blackburn, in his autobiography ‘Managing My Life’.  Kidd responded that Walt Disney wanted the book for his sequel to Fantasia.  Manchester United went on to win the game that relegated Kidd’s team from England’s top division.  When asked how he felt, Sir Alex merely shrugged and said “Oh well“.
Result: A hammer blow early on left the young manager reeling with no clue how to mount a defence.  No contest!

4. The Living Fusebox: Gordon Strachan

Wee Gordon and Big Alex
On the face of it WGS (Wee Gordon Strachan) and Big Alex Ferguson couldn’t be more different.  One a decent, but not great, forward with a dour manner, who turned down a move to England to stay with a lower league team in his homeland.  The other a fiery but mischevious world-class attacking midfielder, who has represented his country at the highest level and played for some of England’s greatest clubs as a more than integral part.  And that’s where the differences end!  Both will hate this, but as managers they are astoundingly similar.  Ferocious tempers, disciplinarians but also highly supportive of their players and desperate for youth to succeed.
Fergie fell out with his progeny when, as Aberdeen manager, Strachan had gone behind his back to negotiate a contract with Cologne.  Sir Alex wrote in his autobiography that he “decided this man could not be trusted an inch“.  As it was, Strachan had had enough of Fergie’s bile and decided to move to Manchester United…and was less than pleased to be followed only months later by Sir Alex!  After confronting Ferguson over his constant criticism, Gordon was transferred to Leeds United and a glittering career.  But it didn’t end there.   So great, Strachan felt, was Ferguson’s hatred that he accused the Manchester United manager of fielding a weakened team to get Strachan’s Coventry City relegated.  Both now claim the feud is over.
Result: Without guiding him, would Strachan be the young player he was?  By transferring him from Manchester United, did this not actually revitalise Gordon’s career?  Would Strachan have won so many titles with Celtic without the experience of relegation with Coventry?  Ferguson has landed some huge blows but the plucky ginger-nut is a master of deflection.  A draw!

3. The Prodigy: David Beckham

Becks and Fergie in happier days
England’s biggest star in a generation versus the Scottish general.  If there’s one thing Ferguson wants, it’s to win.  And that becomes even more important when it’s against Wenger’s Arsenal!  When Sir Alex blamed Becks for losing a goal against Arsenal in a cup final, Fergie lost his temper and kicked a boot into Beckham’s face, making a cut.  Already wound up by the criticism, David saw red and tried to physically attack his manager, only being restrained by Ryan Giggs, Gary Neville and Ruud van Nistelrooy.  The following season saw Ole Gunnar Solskjær keep Becks wide right position, apparently as a display to those above that Man Utd could progress without Beckham.  A few months later, Becks joined Real Madrid in a multi-million pound deal.
Result: Becks successfully stood up to Fergie and has had a glittering career.  Alex however also proved his point that no player was bigger than the team.  No losers there.  A draw!

2. The Young Pretender: Kevin Keegan

Kev doesn't mean it...does he?
Now here’s a battle of unlike minds.  Kevin Keegan, an overly-enthusiastic England hero with a penchant for wearing his heart on his sleeve versus the wily old fox that makes sure his comments are heard only when to his advantage.  After a tough battle with Leeds United, Sir Alex suggested that Leeds didn’t try so hard against teams other than Manchester United.  As the challengers at the time, Newcastle United, were still to face Leeds, this infuriated manager Keegan leading to the now famous rant that ended with “I will love it if we beat them – LOVE IT!
Needless to say, Manchester United won the title after a very erratic end for Newcastle.
Result: A plucky challenge from the high-energy fighter but never recovered from that well-timed knockout punch.  Fergie hands down!

1. The Old Rival: Arsene Wenger

The old friends debate a point
Here’s about with some history!  Unusually, ‘gentleman’ Wenger started it all!  In his first season with Arsenal, Wenger claimed the FA and the other clubs were letting Man U win the title by extending the season.  Rather dismissively, Ferguson replied that Arsene should “keep his opinions to Japanese football“.  However, Wenger was laughing at the end of the season when Arsenal collected the title, even though Sir Alex maintained his were “the better team“.
The following season a spat with Ruud van Nisteltrooy saw a number of Arsenal players suspended and Ruud described as a cheat, plus “Pizzagate“, when a piece of pizza was supposedly thrown by a Gunners player at Ferguson.  Sir Alex claimed that “what the Arsenal players did was the worst I have witnessed in sport“.  Recently, both Fergie and Wenger have found a new respect for each other, however, it only takes one little word for it all to explode again.
Result: Two great fighters and a hugely entertaining bout.  Fergie just takes it on points but the fat lady is still warming up.

Neville on the Brink..!!

Gonna miss u man...!! :p
Manchester United captain Gary Neville accepts he faces a battle to get back into Sir Alex Ferguson's first team.
The Mirror says a United fan was drinking in a local bar and was surprised to see Neville having a pint the night before an Old Trafford game.
When she asked if that was OK with Sir Alex, Neville replied: “I’m not playing.”
And when she asked why, he said: “Not been picked. I was all right ten years ago but I’m rubbish now.”

-from tribalfootball.com
Kesian Gary..nampak kecewa sangat!! To Gary..all I can say is dont give up and do your best in the training!! I watch your games since the ninetees and i believe u still give something to the club and I hope u can last like Giggsy n' Scholesy!! But if SAF think that your time is over please dont be upset..be proud to what u have did to the club and please give your SPECIAL advise to our young lads especially Rafael who I think the right person to replace you at the right back position!! GGMU and you always have a special place in Man Utd fan's heart..do you agree guyz??!!

UCL: Rio Direhatkan n' Rooney Guarantee Start!!

Rio Ferdinand completed 90 minutes against Wigan
Sir Alex Ferguson has revealed Rio Ferdinand will not travel with the Manchester United squad as they fly out to face Rangers in the Champions League on Wednesday.
United currently top Group C and need one more point to guarantee their qualification for the knockout stages. Defeat would leave the Red Devils needing to get something out of their final fixture at home to Valencia.
Ferdinand picked up a groin injury on international duty with England, although it was not bad enough to rule him out of the weekend win over Wigan. However, the United boss revealed he will not risk aggravating the problem in Glasgow.
"Rio has a groin injury now," Ferguson said. "We won't be taking him up to Glasgow to face Rangers in the Champions League on Wednesday, I wouldn't think."
Ferguson had no problems with the England management regarding Ferdinand's injury, despite the midweek fixture only being a friendly. Liverpool expressed their displeasure after Steven Gerrard was sidelined for a month by a hamstring problem, but Ferguson accepted that injuries will happen on international duty...continued
-courtesy of espn.co.uk
Aku rasa Sir Alex bagi chance dia relax la time lawan Rangers ni..lagipun si Rio ni kan ada masalah sikit bila naik flight!! Takut nanti kalau dia join the team gi Scotland, back problem dia datang kembali. Aku percaya sesiapa pun yg ganti dia time game nanti bole bantu United utk dapatkan satu point yg diperlukan utk melayakan diri ke pusingan seterusnya..(full reports click here)!!

Wazza yo..!!
Sir Alex Ferguson has stated that Manchester Unitedstriker Wayne Rooney will start against Rangers in the Champions League on Wednesday after appearing as a substitute in the 2-0 victory over Wigan Athletic.
Rooney hasn’t started a game for United since the visit to Bolton Wanderers back in September when he picked up an ankle injury, and has since been on holiday in Dubai and taken part in a training camp in America.
“I’ll play him [Wayne Rooney] against Rangers now,” Ferguson told Sky Sports News. “I think that’s the sort of game I can give him a full 90 minutes in and he can gradually get back to his best form.
“Wayne got a great reception today and that is satisfying. I think it’s taken a lot of pressure off the boy knowing that he got the reception he did.”
United were not at their best again in the victory against Wigan, but capitalised as the visitors were reduced to nine men.
“The half-time break was a great one for us. We hadn’t played well enough to be ahead at that point, although we did have control of the game and a couple of good breakaways," added Sir Alex.
“In the main we are having to try and break teams like this down. The funny thing about our performances at the moment is we seem to be playing our best football in the last 20 minutes of the match...continued

Yeahh..Rooney bakal kembali menggegar dunia..ekekeke!! Aku harap dia dapat menjaringkan gol time lawan Ranger nanti..yerla,aku pun dah 'RINDU' dengan jaringan2 gol menarik dari dia!! Hopefully dgn body shape yg lebih tough and semangat utk membuktikan dia still UNITED..dia daptlan membantu MU menang or at least draw game tu nanti! Best wishes from all of us..GGMU!! Gillespie Signs For Darlington..!!

Gillespie ketika bersama Man Utd di tahun 1991
Former Glentoran teammate Paul Leeman has praised Keith Gillespie, who has signed for Conference National side Darlington for a month, for being "a great role model".
The former Northern Ireland international and Manchester United player will join the Quakers for their trip to Wrexham on Saturday.
"Obviously the situation at Glentoran with finances meant that we couldn't keep him which was unfortunate but I am glad to hear that he has moved on and got another club and he is still playing the game."
Gillespie, who won 86 international caps, was declared bankrupt last month.
A Revenue and Customs spokesman confirmed it had taken action against the player over a tax bill but refused to say how much the service was owed.
"Keith's a clever player", Darlington manager Mark Cooper told the club's website.
"He's still got a little bit of pace so it was a non-brainer for is to sign him".
The 35-year-old player's career began at Manchester United where he emerged during the early 1990s alongside David Beckham, Nicky Butt, Gary Neville and Ryan Giggs.
He then left for Newcastle United before having later spells at Blackburn Rovers, Leicester City and Sheffield United.
Darlington finished bottom of Football League Two in 2009-10.
The Conference National is the lowest nationwide division in the English football pyramid.

Kalau korang still ingat lagi dulu aku ada post pasal si Gillespie yang dah bankrap..and berita terbaru aku dpt yg dia dah bermain bolasepak semula!! Bagus la kalau macam tu..aku pun kesian gak tengok ex-MU player yg berbakat mcm dia tapi akhirnya tak kemana!! For now..Darlington pun Darlington la!! Asalkan kau dapat menampung kehidupan kau kembali..kira okla!! All the best to you Gillespie..GGMU!!

Man Utd 2 Wigan 0

Chicha Scores the second goal...
Wayne Rooney made a winning return to Manchester United, coming on as a second-half substitute to loud applause as Sir Alex Ferguson's men cruised to a comfortable defeat of nine-man Wigan Athletic and moved into second place, behind Chelsea on goal difference, in the table.
Patrice Evra and substitute Javier Hernandez scored in each half for United, and Rooney went close to crowning his comeback following an ankle injury with a goal but Wigan's Ali Al Habsi tipped his header over the bar.
Any slim chance lowly Wigan had of an upset disappeared around the hour mark when captain Antolin Alcaraz and striker Hugo Rodallega were sent-off by referee Martin Atkinson within three minutes of each other around the hour mark...continued
-reports from telegraph.co.uk
Yeessss...the UNBEATEN run continues!! Hepi sungguh rasanya bila MU menang and ditambah-tambah lagi dengan kekalahan Chelsea n Arsenal...wakakaka!! Game tadi aku tengok dgn geng2 MU (M) FC kat McD seksyen 14 P.Jaya so takdela menyesal aku keluar and balik tengah malam ni!! Apapun tadi MU memang nampak dah kontrol game sejak dari awal and jaringan Evra sebelum halftime memang dah aku nantikan!! Permainan Wigan tambah sukar bila dua player dia kena kad merah and hasilnya MU berjaya skor gol kedua menerusi Chicharito!! Another plus point for tonight game is si Rooney dah kembali walaupun performance dia masih tak begitu 'sharp' lagi..BUT its ok for a player yg dah sebulan tak main and sambutan fans di Old Trafford terhadap Rooney pun kelihatan positif!! So now MU are level with Chelsea and lets hope in the next few game MU akan berada di takhta liga...yeehaaa!! GGMU...for full reports click here!!

Lindegaard Signed..??!!

Anders LindegaardSir Alex has completed the signing of AaFK goalkeeper Anders Lindegaard. The transfer was accidentally announced on the Norwegian club’s website.
Sir Alex has been keeping and eye on the 26-year-old since the summer and has recently been in talks with the Dane’s club over the possibility of a move to Old Trafford.
Some plonker down at the AaFK website made it all official, if only for a few minutes, last night on the club’s website.
‘AaFK and Manchester United have agreed Anders Lindegaard’s switch,’ the website announced.
‘The agreement was signed recently and it is a dream come true for the Dane.’
Lindegaard is a fairly decent keeper. He has four caps for Denmark and managed to keep a clean sheet against the Czech Republic on Wednesday.
The 6ft 4″ giant will not look out of place stood next to Van der Sar and United fans will hope he has enough time to improve before Edwin’s probable retirement come the end of the season. For everyone that dislikes United, cross your fingers and think “Taibi”.
He is set to undergo a medical in Manchester to complete a switch worth around £3.5million.

Aku tak tau berita ni sahih or tidak..but if its TRUE aku rasa bagus la coz Man Utd dah ada backup@pengganti Van Der Sar utk next season!! Sementara menunggu VDS retired, si Lindergaard yang khabarnya akan join pada Januari nanti bolehla jadi understudy..tgk komitmen and karisma VDS semasa latihan n' game sebenar!! To Lindegaard..if u pass the medical and officially be United player..i would like to say WELCOME TO THE GREATEST CLUB in the world and do your BEST ok!! Glory glory Man Utd..

Rooney Knew He Made A Mistake..!!

wayne rooney

Sir Alex Ferguson believes Wayne Rooney quickly realised he had made a mistake after declaring his intent to leave Manchester United.

The United boss claims the uproar amongst United supporters following news of the England star’s intentions to quit Old Trafford caused him to soon recognise he was on the verge of making a decision he would later regret.
At the time, the 25-year-old striker said he thought United were unable to match his ambition and refused to pen a new deal with the Red Devils. But following intense discussions and days of speculation Rooney eventually signed a new five-year contract at Old Trafford.
Ferguson, who signed Rooney from Everton for £25m in 2004, suggests the saga unfolded because the striker was not appropriately advised.
“You don’t necessarily have to heed advice after listening to it,” said the Manchester United manager.
“Some young people take bad advice. He has an agent who is not the most popular man in the world and he obviously sold it to Wayne to ask away. The boy rushed in.”
Ferguson said the response of the supporters helped crystallise the mistake the former Everton striker was making.
“The minute he heard the response of the public and our supporters, he changed his mind, he knew he’d made a mistake,” said Ferguson.
“There’s nothing wrong with that as long as you recognise it. He immediately apologised and agreed a new contract within a couple of hours.”
He added: “It wasn’t done to get the contract, I don’t think that for a minute. But maybe he should have listened to better advice.

Its ok Rooney..we forgive you!! Skrg ni aku cuma berharap sekembalinya kau dari USA kau dah fully prepare inside out to help United to win games and be top of the table where were we belong!! This Saturday time lawan Wigan nanti hopefully u can show us why we miss you and your present in the Man Utd team..we really need your goal right now!! Good luck and all the best from me and all Man Utd fans across the world!!
GGMU..

I'm Still Too Young..!!

Young at heart..!!
ALEX FERGUSON has quashed speculation he might be considering calling time on his managerial career next summer by declaring that retirement is “for young people”.
Making it clear he intends to be at Old Trafford for the foreseeable future, the Manchester United manager said: “I’m in no mood for it; as long as my health is good I intend to carry on. If my health deteriorated it would be different but retirement is for young people – they can do something else. If I get off that treadmill where do you think I’d go? Only one way, down.”
When it was put to him that three years ago he mentioned 2011 as a potential date for stepping down, Ferguson replied: “I’ve changed my mind – again.”
Addressing a sports congress in Doha, where he has been lending support to Qatar’s bid to stage the 2022 World Cup, Ferguson had warm words for the Glazer family, United’s controversial owners. “We have a great relationship – they never bother me, they never phone,” he said, beaming. “They never interfere. What more can you ask for? I’m in a privileged position. I’ve heard of English owners texting managers during training sessions.”
Not that the United manager’s horizon is entirely irritant-free. Ferguson made it clear he regards Paul Stretford, Wayne Rooney’s agent, as a particular nuisance.
“Some young people today take bad advice,” he said, referring to Rooney’s desire to leave Old Trafford, before the U-turn which has furnished the striker with a handsome new contract. “He’s got an agent who is not the most popular man in the world, certainly not at our club. But there’s nothing wrong with making a mistake as long as you recognise it. He (Rooney) has apologised and signed a new contract. I think what we want is Wayne back to his best. When that happens I think everyone will be okay.”
Ferguson believes Rooney realised he had made a major mistake when he felt the backlash against his plans to leave Old Trafford, plans which were met by an angry response from many supporters.
Ferguson said: “It wasn’t done to get the contract, I don’t think that for a minute.” ..continued
