Man Utd FA Cup 5th Round Draw...!!

The FA Cup..

Undian pusingan kelima FA Cup dah pun dilangsungkan semalam and Man Utd telah di undi utk menentang kelab kerdil Crawley Town di Old Trafford pada 19/20 February depan!! Nak kata beruntung memang beruntung la coz lawan kelab NON-League and peluang utk ke pusingan seterusnya begitu cerah..but i hope Sir Alex dont take it soooo lightly coz i really really really want this year to be another year of TREBLE season like the 1998/99 season!! Masa tu memang game2 United lebih kurang macam season ni..COMEBACK KINGS!! Hopefully 3 piala dalam gengaman United pada akhir musim ni menjadi kenyataan...yeehaaa!! Keputusan penuh undian pusingan ke-5 Piala FA semalam..:-

West Ham United v Burnley
Notts County or Manchester City v Aston Villa
Stoke City v Brighton & Hove Albion
Birmingham City v Sheffield Wednesday
Leyton Orient v Arsenal
Everton or Chelsea v Reading
Manchester United v Crawley Town
Fulham v Bolton Wanderers or Wigan Athletic

Man Utd 2 Southampton 1...!!

Little Pea skors the winner...
Manchester United staged yet another second-half fightback to avoid crashing out of the FA Cup to League One opponents for the second successive season.

Southampton threatened to repeat their famous 1976 Wembley win over United when Richard Chaplow gave them a deserved half-time lead against the much-changed Barclays Premier League leaders. But, as in Tuesday night's dramatic comeback at Blackpool, the introduction of the veteran Ryan Giggs helped change the game, with goals from Michael Owen and Javier Hernandez putting the visitors into the last 16.
Having admitted making a mistake by fielding a weakened side in last season's shock third-round home defeat to Leeds, United boss Sir Alex Ferguson had gone strong against Liverpool earlier this month.
But he appeared to forget the lessons of the Leeds loss in picking his team today.
Buoyed by not having to face the likes of Wayne Rooney, Dimitar Berbatov and facing a makeshift defence and rookie goalkeeper, Southampton sensed an upset from the off.
The former Premier League stalwarts were almost given even greater cause for optimism in the eighth minute when the ball deflected through to Dan Harding, who coolly clipped home.
Unfortunately for him, the assistant referee's flag was already up.
But that did not deter the League One high-fliers, who almost profited from slack United defending when Rickie Lambert curled too close to debutant keeper Anders Lindegaard.(cont..)

Kali ninlambat sikit aku update skor  game Man utd pagi semalam coz quite busy semalam. Game abis kul 3 pagi (aku tgk game kat MV di Shah Alam) and balik umah jer terus tidoq coz keletihan!! Then bangun tidoq jer dah kena siap2 gi kenduri kawin jiran and pastu leapk kat umah mak aku...balik jer dari sana ada meeting lak dgn persatuan MUFC..kelab yg aku join kat FB then pastu balik umah anak aku meragam sampai la aku tertidor dalam bilik anak aku tu...ekekeke!! Ok la,cut the crap..game pagi semalam memang aku dah jangka Man Utd akan menang cuma tak sangka Sir Alex akan buat banyak sgt pertukaran dgn formasi yg jarang sekali dia gunakan!! So 1st half memang nampak tak menjadi langsung corak permainan Man Utd sampai bole ketinggalan 1-0 pada penghujung separuh masa pertama!! Masuk 2nd half jer..mcm biasa Man Utd mula mengawal permainan bila Sir Alex masukkan Nani and Giggsy..hasilnya Man Utd berjaya menyamakan kedudukan hasil jaringan Micheal Owen and jaringan kemenangan lak adalah hasil gerakan licik si Chicharito!! And United are thru to 5th round of FA Cup and mengelakan dari tersingkir awal macam season lepas..yeehhaaa!! Apapun..treble season in the making stil boleh tercapai...GGMU!! Confirmed...Van Der Sar Will Retired!!

Edwin van der Sar Manchester United
The Flying Dutchman..

Manchester United goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar has announced that he will retire from football at the end of this season. The 40-year-old, who joined United from Fulham in 2005, has taken the decision despite starting 21 of the club's 23 league matches this term.
"It is now time to pay attention to my family,'' said Van der Sar, who has been contemplating hanging up his boots since his wife Annemarie collapsed with a brain haemorrhage in December 2009."I cannot really identify a time when it [the decision] happened,'' said the former Ajax goalkeeper. "Let's just say that it was playing on my mind from the moment Annemarie had her stroke."She has fought back from it. We decided on another year in England and thus to stay at Manchester United. But, once engaged in the season, the thought of saying goodbye started to gnaw a bit more emphatically.''
He told sport-promotion.nl: "One minute you're out. The next, you question it again. I thought about stopping, maybe a year ago. It is a difficult process. After a defeat, I thought differently than after playing a few good games in a row."My age played no role. I am 40 years old, but I still feel fit. And then the decision came suddenly. Do not ask me how or why, but suddenly you know. That was sufficient."
Van der Sar is poised to turn down the offer of a coaching role with the Red Devils, preferring instead to take a break from the game. "I will hopefully not start coaching too quickly," he said.
"I will try to have 18 months or two years for myself - and I've a family to do nice things with, too."The Netherlands international has won three Premier League titles at United, as well as one Champions League and one League Cup.Sir Alex Ferguson has already taken steps towards finding Van der Sar's successor by signing Anders Lindegaard from Aalesund during the January window.
United goalkeeping coach Eric Steele believes Van der Sar will go down alongside former Red Devil Peter Schmeichel as one of the club's greats following his decisive penalty save from Nicolas Anelka in the Champions League final shootout against Chelsea in May 2008.
Steele told Radio Manchester: "Edwin will retire at the end of the season. It has been a mutual decision between the manager, the team and Edwin."He has been a fantastic servant. I was very lucky. I worked alongside Peter Schmeichel at Villa and I worked with Edwin for two and a half years. That penalty save in Moscow has elevated Edwin alongside Peter."He added: "We are naturally looking at potential suitors ready for the summer when Edwin does decide to say goodbye to us all. Anders has come in to freshen up our goalkeeping department. We never replaced Ben Foster in the summer.
"Edwin is going to be a very difficult man to replace. Anders will have five months working under the master, and Tomasz has been admirable every time he has gone in for us."We also have Ben Amos who is 20 and the manager thinks a lot of him. We have sent him out on loan to Oldham and he has done a terrific job so far, but he is still young and goalkeepers do develop later and do mature later."Come the end of the season the whole thing will be totally re-assessed by the manager. We either do it internally, and we have looked at the best targets, and we have a nice one, two and three."Van der Sar started his career with Ajax in 1990 and enjoyed nearly a decade of success in Amsterdam. He picked up four Eredivisie titles and three Dutch cups on the domestic front and savoured European success with a UEFA Cup win in 1992 and Champions League glory three years later.
Two years at Juventus followed before a switch to Fulham in 2001. He soon established himself as one of the most reliable keepers in England and attracted the attention of United in 2005.
Van der Sar was charged with the task of filling the boots of Schmeichel, who left Old Trafford in 1999 after a wonderful spell at the club which ended with a Champions League victory.
Mark Bosnich, Massimo Taibi, Raimond van der Gouw, Fabien Barthez, Roy Carroll and Ricardo had all tried and failed to command the United defence in the same manner as Schmeichel before Van der Sar arrived between the posts.
Van der Sar retired from international football after Euro 2008 and, although he briefly returned to help out Oranje coach Bert van Marwijk in two 2010 World Cup qualifiers a few months later, he hung up his gloves for good after that with a national record 130 caps to his name.

Sir Alex Should be Lord...??!!!

How Sir Alex might look in the House of Lords, in a picture mocked up by the M.E.N
Lord Sir Alex Ferguson..??!!
United manager Alex Ferguson should be made the first football lord, says a Manchester MP.
Graham Stringer, MP for Blackley and Broughton, said it was ‘ludicrous’ there were no ex-footballers or managers in the House of Lords.
And he claimed lifelong Labour supporter Sir Alex was the perfect candidate.
Mr Stringer – a United fan – claims the upper chamber has become stuffed with actors, novelists and other highbrow celebrities, while ignoring stars of the people’s game.
He said: "It wasn’t until the late 1960s that Matt Busby and Alf Ramsey became the first football knights. It is now time for a football Lord.
"There has been no more successful manager at the top level than Sir Alex Ferguson.
"He should be the first football Lord. It would recognise his achievements and the national importance of football. And it would be the first good reason not to abolish the place.
"Why are actors and novelists more appropriate for the House of Lords than footballers?"
A United spokesman said: "It sounds like an interesting idea – woe betide anyone who falls asleep during a parliamentary session."
Sir Alex, who grew up in a Glasgow tenement the son of a shipbuilder, has always expressed a strong interest in politics.(continues)
-story from menmedia.com
Sir Alex jadi ahli POLITIK??? Apa kata korang semua..lawak ke?? Or memang patut dia join this HOUSE of LORDS?? Entah la..bagi aku artikel ni very interesting to read coz its Sir Alex..and ada lak Menteri Besar yg cadangkan dia join or dilantik jadi ahli politik!! Kira Sir Alex jadi the FIRST from football background yg join politik di Britain...cayalah!! But this is just an opinion by Manchester MP..so i dont know if this can become a reality!! And tak tau la kalau Sir Alex nak join politik lepas bersara dari bolasepak..only he knows!! Ekekeke...anyway Sir Alex..please bring back the EPL trophy back to Old Trafford at the end of the season ok!! GGMU...(full story click here!!)

Giggsy The Saviour...!!

You the man..Giggsy!!
For 70 minutes Blackpool, the team who still wash their own training kit, whose squad cost just £3.5m to assemble and whose top earner picks up just £10,000 a week – one tenth of Wayne Rooney’s salary – were on the verge of a victory that would have ripped the heart out of United’s title challenge but warmed the hearts of the rest.

Instead, United’s legendary powers of recovery shone through from 2-0 down as Javier Hernandez, on for the under-performing Rooney, and two-goal hero Dimitar Berbatov saved them from the brink of disaster, rescued their unbeaten record and earned an improbable victory that puts them five points clear at the top of the Premier League.

For Blackpool it was heartbreaking, but perhaps on reflection they will still see this performance as an incredible achievement to go alongside their two victories over Liverpool that have already marked Ian Holloway’s men out as something different.

It was United’s greater strength in depth, and their never-say-die spirit, that was the difference in the end because after Craig Cathcart and DJ Campbell scored in the first half for Blackpool, subs Giggs and Hernandez changed the game in 16 dramatic minutes.

Berbatov got the first after 72 minutes, Hernandez the second two minutes later from a Giggs pass and then Paul Scholes set up Berbatov again for a remarkable 88th minute winner that at one stage had never looked possible. And that’s why United are still title favourites.

"We are a team who believe no matter how bad the game, even if it’s 2-0 down, that if we can score one we can score more," insisted Berbatov afterwards.

"The first half was not too good. You come here and it’s not such a friendly ground, the pitch is not like Old Trafford, the ball is jumping around and Blackpool played a very good game and could have scored more. But we told ourselves at half time we could do it and we did. It was the team spirit that won the game."

United, who lost Rafael late on to a worrying head injury that saw him sent to hospital with concussion, have now gone 28 Premier League matches without defeat, which is why manager Ferguson was concentrating on his team’s powers of recovery rather than their miserable start.

"I have to say that it’s down to the history of the club, we never give up," he said.

"We changed at half time and Giggs made a tremendous difference, we started playing our way and were deserved winners in the end." (continues..)

Aku setuju betol dgn artikel ni..coz semalam 1st half punya performance memang betol2 buat aku cuax!! Tak kan MU nak kalah?? Dgn Blackpool lak tu?? Kenapa Sir Alex main 4-3-3?? Macam2 la yg bermain dalam pikiran aku!! Then masuk 2nd half Sir Alex kembali ke 4-4-2 dgn memasukan Giggsy gantikan Gibson then barula nampak Man Utd menguasai permainan!! Perasaan tak tenang aku akhirnya hilang minit 74 bila Berbatop skor gol pertama..bila dah gol tu aku dah mula yakin MU bole mengekalkan rekod tanpa kalahnyer..!! Tapi tak sangka MU menang..cayalah!! Aku tabik spring sama lu Giggsy,Berba n tak lupa little pea..yeehaaa!! GGMU..

Man Utd 3 Blackpool 2..!!

The Man Utd Hero...!!

Spirit won us the game

Dimitar Berbatov says United’s resilient team spirit pulled the Reds through on a tricky Tuesday night trip to Blackpool.
The Bulgarian bagged another two goals to take him to 20 for the season – including the all-important match-winner – but he says he always believed the Reds could come back from a two-goal deficit.
“We are a team that believes that no matter how bad the game might be for us – whether it’s 1-0 or 2-0 we are always – we are always confident that if we can score one then we can score more. That was the case today,” he told ESPN. “We fought like a team, especially in the second half. The first half was not so good for us and Blackpool played a good game, but in the second half we showed spirit and we won.”
United just didn’t perform in the first half, and Berbatov says the players felt somewhat fortunate only to be two goals down at the break. But everyone rallied together at half-time. “You come here and it’s not such a friendly ground and the pitch is not as good as back home at Old Trafford, so it’s a bit difficult sometimes because the ball is jumping around,” he said, explaining a lacklustre first 45 minutes. “Blackpool played a good game in the first half and scored some good goals – they could have scored more in the first half. But, lucky for us, it was only 2-0. In the dressing room at half-time we told ourselves, ‘we can do it, we can do it’. And we did.
“Yes [the substitutions changed the game]. Giggs’s experience, his crossing of the ball and his intelligence made a difference. Chicharito is always going for goal; the only thing in his mind is to score. He proved that today. I scored a good goal as well, two actually, but it was the team spirit that won the game.”

Man Utd Worth 1.25 Billion...And Rising!!

The One and Only UNITED...!!
David Gill believes Manchester United are worth £1.25billion - and will only get bigger and bigger.
The United chief executive was talking after reports emerged of a bid by the Qatari royal family to buy the club, reports that were quickly denied by United.
Gill is quoted by Arabian Business.com as saying: "Well Forbes reckon we are the most valuable sporting franchise in the world...and they compare that with other football clubs, but also with the likes of the Dallas Cowboys and so on.
"It [the valuation] is nearly $2 billion."
Gill, who was speaking at the launch of a United football school in Abu Dhabi last week, went on to say: "Football is only going to get bigger. The World Cup gets bigger, the Euros get bigger, the Champions League gets bigger, the Premier League gets bigger.
"And so to be one of the leading clubs within that, we are going to benefit and make sure we continue to push forward."

Van Der Sar Will Say No To Fergie...!!

Thanx a lot VDS...n enjoy ur retirement!!

EDWIN VAN DER SAR will snub Alex Ferguson's offer to be Manchester United's keeping coach.

Veteran Van der Sar, 40, has confided to his team-mates he will hang up his gloves at the end of this season.
Fergie has offered him a coaching role but the Dutch star says he wants a well-earned break.
He said: "I will hopefully not start coaching too quickly.
"I will try to have 18 months or two years for myself - and I've a family to do nice things with too.
"I think about 80 per cent of players who played in football are saying that."
But Van der Sar has revealed his biggest mistake was not signing for United back in 2001.
Fulham offered a more lucrative deal than the Red Devils when his deal with Juventus ran out.
He confessed: "One of the biggest regrets from both sides - United's and mine - is that we didn't come together earlier."

Aku rasa aku paham kalau VDS nak tolak tawaran Sir Alex utk jadi coach goalkeeper!! Yerla..umoq dia dah 40 lebih and stil main at top level..kalau dikira-kira balik dah berapa belas tahun dia dedikasikan diri dia utk bola sepak!! Anyway VDS..for me u are one of Man Utd goalkeeping legend setaraf dgn Schmeichel and wat ever u do next in the near future..I wish u all the best good luck!! GGMU...

Man Utd Goal Greatest Comeback..!!

Winning mentality is what I love the MOST about Man Utd..!! Kalau korang ada baca post aku pasal tahun '99 yg mana aku cakap musim tu merupakan musim paling EMO buat aku as United fan!! Tak heran la dalam video kat atas ni ada 2 game yg tersenarai dari tahun tersebut..game semifinal Piala FA lwn Arsenal utk tahun '99 tu tak tersenarai mayb becoz its not a comeback but pure resiliance from United to keep on going and winning!! And for this season i can see that mentality is BACK and thats why i'm posting this video!! So guys..do u still remember those 4 matches listed in the video??!! GGMU and United 4 life...

Man Utd 5 Birmingham 0...!!

berbatov scores
The 5 STAR performance from BerbaTOP n Giggsy..
This may have been the afternoon the Manchester United juggernaut finally moved into high gear. Their unbeaten run in the Premier League this season is now 22, a sequence that stretches back to the April day Chelsea came here and departed with a win that swung last year's championship towards London.
Birmingham City arrived with hopes of being the crew to finally halt Sir Alex Ferguson's gang but within a minute of kick-off a big hole was punched in these pretensions by opponents who became better and better as the afternoon went on.
Ryan Giggs, who began the match in rampaging mode and would finish a magnificent move just before the break, floated in a corner that a slumbering defence allowed John O'Shea to back-flick into the danger area. David Murphy, the Birmingham left-back, stood on the goalline as Dimitar Berbatov wandered away to secure the simplest of finishes and begin a memorable hat-trick.
Too much space was the charge for this goal – and the four that followed. After the half-hour Roger Johnson made an awful mistake near halfway, passing straight to Anderson. The midfielder touched the ball to Wayne Rooney, who advanced towards a back-pedalling defence, before moving possession on to Berbatov. From an inside-left berth the Bulgarian was allowed to motor into the area and unload a shot that beat Ben Foster. It was his 17th goal of the season.
United's third was brilliant. Berbatov, sliding along the grass, somehow managed to intercept David Bentley's pass. He laid the ball off to Rooney, who returned it with a cleverly clipped back-heel before continuing his run. When he received again from Berbatov, Rooney glanced up and, from wide right, produced a delivery that bent sweetly across Birmingham's area to find Giggs, who smashed the ball home to draw the contest to a end.
This, understandably, had Ferguson purring. "The third was exciting – the interchange between the players," he said. "It was a killer goal coming right on half-time."
Rooney's curious season had its latest instalment moments into the second half. While the 24-year-old continues to be one of United's baton wavers he has scored once from open play. And when Nani again got behind Birmingham's defence and flipped over a delivery that dropped precisely on Rooney's head, he somehow pushed his attempted finish wide of a gaping goal.
"We hope the goals come for Rooney, he deserves it," Ferguson said. "He played some great football today and worked his socks off. He showed fantastic control from Edwin van der Sar's ball that came out the clouds to set up Giggs, in the build-up for the fourth goal."
This was after the break when Berbatov finished for a third that again illustrated how lethal he is in a campaign that could close in May with United matching Arsenal's Invincibles of 2003‑04...(continues)

Hargreaves Is Back...Again!!!

Hargreaves back in light training but losing run to be in Champions League squad
Pity you Hargs..
Manchester United midfielder Owen Hargreaves has reportedly returned to light training.

The 30-year-old battled serious knee problems that had threatened to end his playing career, but made a surprise return during the game against Wolverhampton Wanderers in November.

But the return barely lasted a few minutes as the former Bayern Munich man had to leave the pitch owing to a hamstring injury.

He was initially expected to be out only for five weeks, but a slow recovery has seen the player only recently begin light training, according to The Telegraph.

Hargreaves has made a total of 39 appearances in all competitions since his big money move from Bayern to Manchester in 2007.

-reports from goal.com

Man Utd's Future Star...!!

6. Bebe: Age 20; Recommended to Sir Alex by former United coach Carlos Queiroz, the Portuguese winger signed for The Reds in the summer of last year for £7.4m.
Already a goal in the Champions League to his name, Bebe boasts electric pace, good positioning and strength which could see him emulate fellow countryman, Luis Nani. Don’t expect the next Cristiano Ronaldo, though.
5. Tom Cleverley: Age 21; Clever by name, clever by nature. Ok, that was cheesy but this lad is the real deal.
After a successful spell on loan at Watford last season, the midfielder has joined Wigan to prove he can mix it with the Premier League’s big boys.
A box of tricks up his sleeve and an established England U-21 international, expect ‘Clevers’ to be knocking on the first-team door next season.
4. Danny Welbeck: Age 20; Local boy Welbeck has already tasted the big time by playing an integral part in United winning the League Cup back in 2008/09.
A little rough around the edges, Fergie has sent him out on loan to Sunderland and it has paid dividents. He took a little while to find his feet at first but performances against Chelsea and Everton have proved he’s months, not years, away from a place in the Red Devils starting XI.
3. Javier Hernandez: Age 22; Who doesn’t have a soft spot for Chicharito? He’s young, he’s pacey and most of all, he just loves playing football.
It’s hard to believe it’s the young Mexican’s first season in the Premier League. The striker has certainly played his part in United’s unbeaten run so far, especially with the off the pitch antics surrounding Wayne Rooney.
Two key goals against Stoke City tell you all you need to know about this potential world-beater.
2. Ravel Morrison: Age 17; Talk of this lad has been the stuff of myths rather than legends at Old Trafford but comparisons with a certain Ryan Giggs will only add fuel to the fire.
Fiery pace, step-overs and a great delivery, Morrison is everything you could want from a winger. Despite his rumoured attitude problem, expect the watchful eye of Alex Ferguson to reign down upon him and put him in his place.
1. Jack Barmby: Age 16; The token wildcard in the list, young Jack’s father is the former Everton and Liverpool midfielder Nick Barmby - who made 23 caps for England.
The Red Devils wrestled Hull City for the youngster last year and he has already netted 2 goals in his 4 U-16 England caps.
Currently working hard in United’s U-18s, the tricky midfielder will look to benefit from the guidance of Cleverley and Bebe in the next few years.
-thanx to busbyway.com
Cuma player  nomor satu tu aku masih belum kenal sangat..almaklum la aku tak berapa expert sangat dalam pemain Youth Man Utd!! Tapi bapak dia si Nicky Barmby aku kenal la coz dia dulu pernah main dalam EPL..hehehe!! Takpela..asalkan dia dapat membantu United meneruskan penguasaan dalam EPL di masa akan datang aku akan sokong dia no matter what!! Yeehaaa....Good luck to u guyz and keep improving yourself!! GGMU..

The Return of The King...!!

The King is back in football..

LOOK who's back in the game - Man United legend Eric Cantona.

The Frenchman makes a shock return to football today as Director of Soccer at New York Cosmos. He said: "I am very honoured to join the legendary New York Cosmos. It's a big project, a wonderful project."The Cosmos are very strong, beautifully made, with a great past. It's kind of a mix between football and art."Cantona vows to restore the glory days of the five-times champions and help build them into one of the world's best clubs.
He said: "I will do everything I can to help us first find our way to regain the No 1 position in the United States, and then for us to become one of the best clubs in the world."
Cantona will be officially unveiled in a blaze of publicity by Cosmos chairman Paul Kemsley, the flamboyant former vice-chairman of Tottenham Hotspur. The Cosmos are set to return to big-time football in 2013.
Kemsley said: "Three years ago, when I first had the idea of reviving The New York Cosmos, I couldn't have dreamt we'd be able to attract an icon of the likes of Eric Cantona to the club.
"It's a personal thrill for me, as he was one of my heroes, and it is a further endorsement to the global attraction and power that The New York Cosmos carries."
Cantona's role will be to help assemble a squad ready for the re-birth of the Cosmos in two years.
The club folded in 1985 after the collapse of the North American Soccer League but Kemsley has bought up the name and rights for $2m. Cantona is the latest recruit among a star-studded staff.Pele is club President, David Beckham's ex-manager Terry Byrne vice chairman and former Liverpool chief executive Rick Parry a director.
US star Cobi Jones has defected from LA Galaxy to be associate sporting director.
There is speculation Galaxy team-mate Beckham will be on board soon.
His LA contract runs out in July 2012, leaving him free to then team up with the Cosmos.

-reports from thesun.co.uk

Zidane to United..???!!

Brazilian Zidane hints at January move
Ganso..the Brazilian Zidane
Santos wonderkid Paulo Henrique Ganso is considering his future at the Brazilian club with a number of top European teams including Inter Milan, Real Madrid, Manchester City, Manchester United and Arsenal al reportedly monitoring the player.

Alongside teammate Neymar, the attacking midfielder is widely considered as one of the finest young prospect in Brazilian football, and while Chelsea were rumoured to be trying to engineer a deal for the former during the summer, Sir Alex Ferguson and Roberto Mancini were reportedly the frontrunners vying for Ganso’s signature, while Gunner’s manager Arsene Wenger has also been linked with the youngster.

Speculation in August 2010 suggested Ferguson had endeavored to smooth over a potential deal for Ganso, by selling Ricardo Possebon to Santos and although no deal was forthcoming, the Old Trafford supremo is believed to be a huge admirer of the precocious midfielder already capped by Brazil.

The youngster was reportedly currently re-negotiating a new long-term contract with Santos, but talks have stalled with the Brazilian, who has been compared with Zinedine Zidane admitting he is considering his future.

“Nothing has been resolved, there is no signature on the contract,' said the frustrated 21-year-old. “ Ganso said.

“It has been five months and nothing. To not be valued by your club is complicated. Talks were closed because Santos stopped coming to me.' I am injured and a big European team wants me - the world champion wants to count on me,

“Meanwhile, Santos practically doesn't value me. It's almost funny. 'If there was no injury, I can say without a doubt that everything would have been resolved. The new deal would already be settled.

“But unfortunately it happened and things have been hard. I'm upset for not be valued by the club to which I devote myself with such pleasure.”

Ganso did however refuse to rule out the possibility of staying in Brazil with Santos.

“I want to grow and I hope Santos can help me to,' he said. 'I am pleased to play for a big club but I want to be valued more.”

Rumor utk arini ialah pasal Brazilian Zidane iaitu Paulo Henrique Ganso!! Orang kata dia ni ala2 Zidane and main as attacking midfielder..so kira good prospect gak la utk gantikan Scholsey ni!! Apapun macam biasa ni just rumor but kalau Sir Alex nak sign mamat ni-macam yg dah tertulis dalam artikel-aku rasa Man Utd are the front runner to sign him coz Sir Alex dah 'RASUAH' diorg aritu bila dia bagi si Ricardo Passebon join club Santos yg diwakili Ganso sekarang!! Right now aku tak dapat komen banyak pasal Ganso ni coz aku pun tak tengok corak n gaya permainan dia tapi if Sir Alex do really sign him..i think he's good enough for United!! What u guys think..?? Sir Alex Ferguson paid tribute to his Manchester United defenders following the goalless draw with Tottenham.
Spurs are regarded as one of the most dangerous attacking sides in the Premier League but created few clear-cut chances at White Hart Lane on Sunday.
United continued to look comfortable at the back even after Rafael had been sent off for a second bookable offence in the 74th minute and Ferguson was delighted with the rearguard effort.
"I think they were particularly good," Ferguson told Sky Sports when asked about his defenders.
"It could be a really thrilling end to the season. Tottenham are not out of it...(continues)

SAF : Giggsy An Incredible Human Being...!!

Ferguson: No other player has ever done that
Giggsy is the BEST
Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has paid tribute to his longest serving player Ryan Giggs, lauding the evergreen Welshman as “an incredible human being”.
Although discussions are yet to begin over a new one-year contract extension for the 37-year-old, but both parties have suggested it is a formality, and ahead of their crucial encounter against fellow Premier League title challengers Tottenham Hotspur, Ferguson was fulsome in his praise of the midfielder.
Ferguson told Sky Sports: "Ryan is an incredible human being.
"He defies the logic of forwards when he plays at the level he did last Sunday. Obviously, we know how to manage him.
"He doesn't play every week but he makes a contribution to the team. He did that in the second half last week. He was outstanding.
"His fitness was fantastic. He kept going for the whole 90 minutes. He has been doing that for two decades.
"No other player has ever done that - or likely to. He is quite an amazing man.

Sir Alex Survived....??!!

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has outlasted over ONE THOUSAND managers in English professional football since his arrival at Old Trafford.
Manutd.com reports information supplied by the League Managers Association says 1023 different managers have either been dismissed, resigned or left by mutual consent since Sir Alex arrived at Old Trafford in November 1986.
Ferguson, in recent weeks, has seen his son, Darren, sacked by Preston North End and former United captain Roy Keane leave Ipswich Town.
The Scot joined United from Aberdeen over 24 years ago.

Rooney Nak Lari Dari Bayang-bayang...

Rooney Brothers (Pix:Liverpool Echo)
Rooney and bros...
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — As John Rooney walks out onto the beach by his hotel, his sunburned neck is already redder than a Manchester United jersey, which can happen when an Englishman comes to Florida to escape the shadow of his famous brother.
A newcomer to the United States, Rooney took part in a five-day Major League Soccer Combine that concluded Tuesday. He has signed a contract with the league and hopes to be taken in the first round of the SuperDraft on Thursday.
Rooney's oldest brother, Wayne, is the star striker for Man United, a hero and villain who in recent months has been lambasted by the British media, jeered by fans and burned in effigy. John is a 20-year-old midfielder trying to carve out a career, and after playing in the lower leagues back home, he decided to come to the United States.
"I've watched the MLS for a few years and enjoyed it," John says in his thick Liverpool accent. "So I thought it would be a good move."
Rooney sits at an oceanfront picnic table, 20 miles up the coast from Miami Beach, where a quartet of Liverpudlians known as the Beatles famously cavorted in the ocean 47 years ago this winter.
There's no Rooneymania in Florida. While John has done some interviews, he says he doesn't get asked for autographs or encounter many soccer fans away from the pitch.
The spotlight is much more intense back home for his brother, who was voted England's player of the year last April, then made headlines with a lackluster World Cup, a contract dispute and allegations he cheated on his pregnant wife with a prostitute.
No wonder John finds a Florida getaway appealing.
He prefers not to discuss his brother's travails of recent months. Regarding the World Cup, Rooney says only that "it was a tough time. We don't really talk about much football. We'd rather stay away from it, and talk about normal stuff."
The MLS is aware of Rooney's desire to make a name for himself. His agent approached the league about the possibility of Rooney coming to the United States, and he made his first trip over last summer, when he trained with the Seattle Sounders and Portland Timbers.
Todd Durbin, MLS executive vice president for player relations and competition, says the league's goal is for Rooney to have a long, successful U.S. career.
"It's a great place for him to come and develop," Durbin says. "Obviously having a brother as high-profile as Wayne Rooney is going to make his experience in England different than for other players, and I think this is a great place for him to be."
In past years Rooney would not have been permitted to participate in the combine, but the MLS expanded eligibility to include international players who have not attended a U.S. college. Rooney was one of six players in that category at the combine.
He scored a goal in one of his three games and says he found the style and level of play similar to the English leagues in which he played...(continues)

Adik Wayne Rooney iaitu si John gi ke USA utk bermain liga bolasepak kat sana!! Apapehal pun aku harap adik Wayne Rooney tak kisah la si John or Graham..hopefuly they will be a great footballer in the future and be as good as his brother !! GGMU to Rooney's family... Wenger is Better Than Sir Alex ...??!!! No Way.....

Wenger vs Sir Alex..
If you thought that the FIFA World Rankings are wacky and worse, if Inter Milan can be labelled the best club side in the world after doing no more than defeating a team of Korean unknowns and a bunch of amateurs from the Congo, try getting your head around this. Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has been named the “The World‘s best Coach of the 1st Decade of the 21st Century” by IFFHS – ‘The International Football Federation of History & Statistics’ an organisation which is officially recognised by FIFA. Wenger finished with 156 points, 8 ahead of Sir Alex Ferguson and 21 more than Jose Mourinho.Remember that what’s known as a ‘manager’ in England is referred to as a ‘coach’ in most parts of the world.
Now I have nothing against Wenger, as a matter of fact I have come to respect the guy in the last few years but no matter how you analyse this award, it is simply incomprehensible. The IFFHS explains that “The IFFHS has devised an equitable method for establishing the The World‘s best Coach of the 1st Decade of the 21st Century. The IFFHS will take into consideration the “Top 20″ for each year and allocate points to each place. So the first placed receives 20 points, the second placed 19 points, the third-placed 18 points … and a point for twentieth place” Does that make the whole thing crystal clear now?
So let’s have a look at some undisputable FACTS which illustrates why even Wenger himself must be embarrassed by such a delusional, meaningless award.
Ferguson and Wenger have been in the Premier League for the entire decade so it was a simple, direct comparison with no complications – a straightforward apple compared with an apple exercise.
The most obvious is the amount of silverware each manager has won during the decade in question
Ferguson – Premier League 5, FA Cup 1, Carling Cup 3, Champions League 1, World Club Cup 1
Wenger - Premier League 2, FA Cup 3
Then there are the head to head clashes between the two managers which takes into account the Premier, Champions Leagues, FA and Carling Cups but NOT the almost meaningless Community Shield
Ferguson 13 wins, Wenger 8, remaining matches resulted in draws
When points obtained in the Premier League during the decade are compared
Ferguson’s Manchester United had a total of 826 points against Wenger’s Arsenal 773, an additional 53 points which equates to winning an extra 17 matches.
When you look at any of those statistics it’s very clear that Sir Alex is so far ahead of Wenger that the whole poll should have been a total no contest. But then have a look at some of the other placings to see how ludicrous the whole thing is. Fabio Capello fourth, Luiz Felipe Scolari seventh, Rafa Benitez ninth and note this, Sven-Goran Eriksson the world’s 13th best manager of the decade!
It’s also worth noting that England is represented by only three coaches among the top 176, the best placed of them being Roy Hodgson in 92nd place with Sir Bobby Robson and Harry Redknapp tied at 126.
Perhaps the best way that such a ludicrous outcome can be explained is to have a look at the following which was written on IFFHS’s own entry on Wikipedia “In a wide range of media there is massive doubt about the significance of IFFHS rankings and elections. German news agency Deutsche Presse-Agentur abstains from publishing news relating to the IFFHS. Karl Lennartz, a sports historian from Cologne, Germany, calls the organization “obscure”, describing it as a one man show of its chairman Alfredo Poge.

Aku tertarik nak bca artikel ni coz IFFHS bagi award kat Wenger and bukan pada Sir Alex utk Manager of The Decade!! Aku setuju dgn apa yg dituliskan oleh artikel ni..cuba bagitau apa yg dapat membuktikan yg si Wenger ni is BETTER than Sir Alex??!! Kalau korang tengok sendiri statistik yg ditulis kat atas si Wenger stil jauh di belakang Sir Alex tak kira dari segi point EPLeven piala yg dimenangi oleh kelab masing2 pun jauh berbeza!! So..memang award yg dimenangi oleh Wenger ni kira MEANINGLESS dari kaca mata aku as Man Utd fans!! Apa pulak pendapat korang?? Lebih baik tak ada Award ni kan..ekekeke???!! GGMU...
