From Sinner to a WINNER...!!

t has been some time since we have seen what may be described as the real Wayne Rooney. The 2010-11 model has been a shadow of what we have known before.

Nevertheless, as the Manchester United forward prepares to return to the scene of one of his career low points in Germany on Tuesday night, he appears on the brink of one of the purple patches of form that can be so impressively devastating.

It is almost five years since Rooney’s tangle with Ricardo Carvalho in Gelsenkirchen earned him a red card as England tumbled out of the World Cup against Portugal. Now he returns to the same stadium as United face Schalke in the semi-finals of the Champions League.He will hope for a more successful evening and, on the evidence of his play against Everton at Old Trafford on Saturday, he would appear in the mood to play his part.It is no coincidence that United’s relatively modest attacking play this season has been accompanied by a poor few months for Rooney. When the Liverpudlian is not on his game, United are not the same team. They rely on him for impetus.

They will need him in Germany and they will need him in next week’s return. Schalke will be more  difficult opposition than many people believe — look what they did to Inter in the last round — and United will, in all likelihood, need to score in both legs if they are to progress to another final.Rooney will start both games, of course. Having scored in the last round against Chelsea, he remains United’s best chance of breaking Schalke down and he looks in the mood.‘Wayne is playing very well,’ said United manager Sir Alex Ferguson recently. ‘It is great to see him in this mood. Yess....TOTALLY agree with this!! Mana tak nyer..awal musim time persembahan dia hambar and lepas tu kontroversi nak kluar dari UNITED belom lagi berita skandal dia dgn perempuan..macam2 la org kata kat si Rooney ni..kira SINNER!! Then masuk 2nd half of the season..Rooney mula tunjukan taring and persembahan n prestasi dia kembali seperti season lepas!! Aku harap dia dapat teruskan kecemerlangan dia and membantu UNITED utk menang kejuaraan LIGA dan Champions League..kalau dia main time semifinal FA Cup  lawan Man City aritu aku rasa MU ada chance menang TREBLE!! Tapi apakan daya semua dah terlepas..so Rooney..i guess u were BORN TO BE A WINNER...ekekek!! Lupakan sahaja kehampaan Piala Dunia tu coz kau masih muda and bole main utk 2-3 kejohanan Piala Dunia..yg penting sekarang,game besok kau tolong la United utk catat kemenangan di Schalke ok...!!
