Current France Manager |
France coach and former Manchester United player Laurent Blanc has admitted that he would be interested in succeeding Sir Alex Ferguson at Old Trafford.
Although Ferguson shows no signs of retiring yet, there are already differing opinions on who may eventually take over. Frenchman Blanc played for Manchester United between 2001-3 and has since enjoyed a successful spell managing Bordeaux. He became coach of the France national team after this summer's World Cup.
According to Reuters, when asked about succeeding Ferguson, Blanc said "Sir Alex is the cornerstone of Manchester United , he embodies the entire project, he has the passion. It would be very interesting, a very tough challenge.
Blanc, who will next week bring his France side to face England at Wembley, added that he would "very much love" to succeed Ferguson, but acknowledged that it would be "hard to find a successor to Sir Alex."

As a manager pulak, kebolehan dia terbukti bila pimpin Bordeaux utk menjuarai Liga Peranchis..but personally, aku 50-50 la dia bole ke tak handle pressure kat Premier League!! Apapun..aku setuju apa yg si Blanc and manager2 lain cakap
-it would be "hard to find a successor to Sir Alex." - !! You are the ONE and ONLY Sir Alex Ferguson..The Greatest Manager Of All Time!! Glory Glory Man Utd..
