CRAIG BELLAMY has revealed interest from Manchester City's bitter rivals United forced his move home.

The Wales skipper was not wanted by Roberto Mancini at Eastlands and is now on loan at Cardiff.Tottenham were not the only Premier League club keen to sign him in the summer, when City refused to let him join one of their rivals.Bellamy, 31, said: "Someone else came in from above Tottenham which would have caused a few stirs."If I'd said I wanted to go there for one minute, my life in Manchester would have been really tough. It would've been a miracle had it come off."I tried to work out whether to hold out for that one or go home."But because of the other club's interest, City panicked and pushed the Cardiff thing through."
