ALEX FERGUSON has vowed to resolve the Wayne Rooney dispute this morning and insisted: There is nothing wrong with Manchester United.

After his side beat Bursaspor - thanks to Nani's wondergoal - Fergie revealed he will meet chief executive David Gill at 10am today to put to bed the controversy that threatens to rip the club apart.He said: "There's nothing wrong with Manchester United, not a thing wrong with it.

"We need to put this to bed. David has spoken to the owners, we don't want it to become a saga."I have not seen his statement. I have seen a few bits of it on the TV but I will have a view on it tomorrow."And he insisted he has not given up hope of persuading his star striker to stay - even though the feeling at Old Trafford is the player has made up his mind to go. Fergie added: "The door is open - we want to keep good players, especially when they are as good as that."
United huffed and puffed after Nani broke the deadlock with a brilliant run and 25-yard strike after just seven minutes.And Ferguson said: "I think we could have pushed on better. But we did the job well in the sense we kept control of the game and they did not have a chance until two minutes to go."A win is a win and it was important for the fans, too. There was a good atmosphere in the dressing room.
"Nani is getting better and adding goals to his game. He has great feet and courage and loves training, so it is coming together for the lad."
