Wayne Rooney made a sensational debut for Manchester United as he netted a hat-trick in the 6-2 rout of Fenerbahce at Old Trafford.

It came in a 37-minute spell between goals from Ryan Giggs, Ruud van Nistelrooy and David Bellion as United gorged themselves a woeful Turkish defence.

Seldom has a debut has been as long-awaited as the 18-year-old's, as he recovered from a broken metatarsal suffered while on England duty in Euro 2004. (continues)

Wayne Rooney returned from his injury layoff for Manchester United at Old Trafford, and he helped his side to a 2-1 triumph at home to Newcastle. Rooney was part of an inexperienced home line-up featuring several academy players, but they still beat a much-changed Newcastle side thanks to goals from Anderson and Tom Cleverley .

Rooney had not played since August 25 when he received a deep gash to his leg against Fulham - forcing him to endure a spell on the sidelines. Upon his return he enjoyed an understated appearance, but Anderson proved to be a midfield force for United in an entertaining match.

Darren Fletcher also made his first start for 10 months for United, but it was midfield partner Anderson who had the first real chance on goal, forcing a top drawer one-handed save from Rob Elliot after bursting into the area. Danny Welbeck then drew another stop from Elliot, before Cleverley missed a gilt-edged chance when placing the ball wide from 10 yards.

The breakthrough arrived a minute before the interval when Anderson drove forward and rifled home from outside the area, and then Cleverley doubled the lead not long before the hour when he curled home his first United goal. Papiss Cisse ended his drought with a 63rd-minute header, but Newcastle could not find another as Cisse hit the bar with an audacious overhead kick nine minutes from time.

Rooney and Fletcher is BACK yo...!! Selepas lama berehat akibat kecederaan, kedua pemain ni kembali beraksi semlm ketika menentang Newcastle!! Aku tengok game tu and aku rasa lega dan berbangga coz mereka berdua berjaya memimpin player2 muda United utk menang 2-1 hasil jaringan TOM+ANDO!!

Gandingan TOM+ANDO ni cukup mengujakan aku..mcm season lepas bila diawal musim diorg kemudi bahagian tengah hinggalah Cleverley cedera di Bolton!! Menang 8-2 keatas Arsenal adalah bukti gandingan mantap mereka ni..hopefully we can see more from this duo!! United could have been forgiven for thinking that European football was going to be a breeze after a sensational 10-0 annihilation of Anderlecht, a result that remains the Reds' biggest of all-time.

Sir Matt Busby's side triumphed 2-0 in the first leg in Brussels but were still anticipating a tough road to the next round of the 1956 European Cup, the first time an English team had entered the competition.

Dennis Viollet led the way with four of the goals and Tommy Taylor also bagged a hat-trick. Liam Whelan (2) and Johnny Berry added their names to the scoresheet but David Pegg also deserves a mention after setting up many of the 10 goals.

"We were all keyed up for the return match and also a little anxious because we too were playing away from home," said Busby.

"We had to stage the tie at Maine Road because Old Trafford did not then have floodlighting. (continues)

First reported a few months back by your favourite football site, Viktor Fischer is apparently still on the radar of Sir Alex Ferguson, according to the Guardian.

Fischer’s Denmark U19 coach, Thomas Frank wowed the football world last week when he said

“Fischer is special. He can be just like Messi or Ronaldo,”

How many times have we heard that one? At any rate Manchester United love to stockpile strikers and the rumours persist that this little dude will eventually move to Old Trafford.

He is currently 18 years of age but still has virtually no experience at senior level for Ajax. His youth international stats are however very encouraging. He has scored 27 goals in 45 appearances at youth level for his country.

De Gea is Man Utd No1...??!!

David de Gea or AndersLindegaard? It's a necessary decision that Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson seems to be shying away from at present.Earlier this week he revealed that "alternating is not a problem for me. That's the policy I have been adopting and I'm comfortable with it".

Rotation may be a good concept in theory for Sir Alex, but in reality, surely all it does is diminish the confidence of both players.If, like against Galatasaray on Wednesday, de Gea has a real barnstormer, keeping his team in the game with acrobatic saves, he is then dropped for the next game—is that really going to help his mindset?

The same goes for Anders Lindegaard, who is yet to concede a goal at Old Trafford in his United career.De Gea may be the fashionable choice out of the two, but Lindegaard has shown a steady assurance in between the sticks that prevents him from making the kind of erratic mistakes such as de Gea's against Fulham a few weeks back.

The difference in the players' price tags, at least for now, doesn't appear to be as important a factor in Sir Alex's mind as some would make out.The £3.5 million paid for Lindegaard is already looking like a bargain, whilst the £17 million paid for de Gea has yet to show real dividends.That's not to say that the latter isn't the Red Devils' No. 1 option going forward, he is...most definitely. Aku tertarik dgn artikel ni and aku rasa De Gea memang keeper No1 United...in the FUTURE la!! Skrg ni susah skit coz Lindegaard pun power gak and thats why Sir Alex pun bingung nak letak siapa sebagai keeper No1 United!! Selagi De Gea ada buat silly mistake,selagi tu Sir Alex belum BELIEVE kat dia sepenuhnya..BUT i think De Gea ni stil young and in learning process..he will come good and maybe will be United LEGEND one day..Sir Alex cuma perlu bagi LEBIH kepercayaan kat dia..!!

Lindegaard bukannya tak bagus..dia POWER apa and ada EXPERIENCE..itu kelebihan dia dari De Gea!! Untuk long term..De Gea is my No1 and he can be successful like what Casillas did at Madrid..dari umur 18 tahun tu dia jadi keeper No1!! Apapun..Sir Alex lebih mengetahui..he is the BOSS!! If he's HAPPY to rotate his keeper..i will always support him and UNITED..!! Korang lak camane?? Siapa keeper No1 korang??

Malam ni bermulanya perlawanan Champions League..so aku pun tak mau terlepas utk menyaksikan pasukan favorit aku beraksi esok hari dimana Man Utd akan menentang Galastasaray (Khamis pukul 2.45am). Selepas team fantasy EPL,skarang team UCL plak and aku dah setup dah pun..korang lak camane?? Aku dah join Malaysian Red Devils grup..so kalo korang nak join just masukan code ni..1226941-425800 

Kalo korang belum tau,Man Utd berada dalam grup H utk pertandingan UCL musim 2012/13 ni. Team lain yg ada dalam grup United adalah Braga,Galastasaray and Cluj...!! Hopefully tahun ni Man Utd tidak amik mudah team2 lain and just do their job..WIN..WIN...WIN..yeehaaa!!

Fuiyoo....cayalah!! My team Man Utd menang 4-0 di Old Trafford melawan Wigan tadi. Bertambah BEST bila dua ORANG BARU menjaringkan gol di aksi DEBUT diorang di halaman sendiri..congrats to Buttner and Powell!! Game ini juga mencipta sejarah bila otai2 lama mencapai MILESTONE masing2 seperti kat gambo diatas..Scholsey dgn penampilan 700-nya bersama UNITED..Giggsy pulak dgn penampilan ke 600 dalam EPL dan Rio penampilan ke 400 utk UNITED..congrats jugak buat LEGENDS ni!!

Okla..utk game ni, aku rasa 1st half game UNITED kira ok je..Chicha terlepas menjaringkan penalti,aku stil BELIEVE yg team aku ni akan menang...well,my guess is right!! Masuk je 2nd half UNITED tampil lebih garang and hasilnya otai lama PS22 berjaya memecah kebuntuan pada minit ke51!! LITTLE PEA menebus balik kegagalannya tadi dgn jaringan kedua UNITED pada minit 63!!Then our new boy,si BUTTNER (man of the match for me) skor hasil gerakan solo di min 66 and POWELL lak skor pada minit 82!!

Apapun,selepas game ni aku PERCAYA yg team UNITED musim ni mmg banyak player BACKUP yg power2..so tak perlu risau rasanya!! Kagawa,RvP,Rooney,Valencia,Evra n Young tak main..ada banyak player muda yg bole gantikan..!! Welcome Buttner and Powell...Congrats LEGENDS on your milestone..!! GGMU...yeehaaa...!!

Sir Alex Statue at Old Trafford..??

United have applied for planning permission to put up a statue of Sir Alex Ferguson at Old Trafford.

The three-metre tall bronze statue will go on a canopy to be built outside the North Stand/Sir Alex Ferguson Stand.United announced last year that they had commissioned Philip Jackson, an award-winning fellow Scot, to make the tribute. – a celebration of his 25 years at the helm.

The statue will stand on a plinth and be similar to those of Sir Matt Busby and the ‘holy trinity’ of George Best, Denis Law and Bobby Charlton at the stadium.

Fuh..i think its time to appreciate what Sir Alex have done to UNITED..!! Memang aku setuju sesangat kalo projek ni menjadi kenyataan!! Dah macam2 kejayaan dan piala yg telah Sir Alex bawa pulang ke Old Trafford selama 26 tahun dia menjadi MANAGER..dan sekarang adalah masa yg sesuai utk menghargai beliau..betol tak?? A total of 37 PIALA tu..bukan nyer sikit..!!

Aku rasa kalo diorg nak buat tugu tu..elok sangat buat bentuk Sir Alex dgn gaya seperti gambo diatas..!! Korang pulak camane..rasa2 bentuk/gaya Sir Alex yang bagaimana sesuai utk dijadikan tugu...ermmmm?? Selepas Sir Alex..hopefully Man Utd will consider to built my favorite and LEGENDARY player statue..its SIR RYAN JOSEPH GIGGS!!

Its been ONE year long vacations..and i'm BACK!!
