UCL Result : Man Utd 3 vs Braga 1

RvP starts Man Utd COMEBACK..

MANCHESTER UNITED surged into the knockout stages of the Champions League after beating Braga — and a blackout.

The lights went out in the second half with United trailing 1-0. But they stormed back to retain their 100 per cent group record and boss Alex Ferguson believes they can shine all the way to glory.Fergie roared: “I think in terms of the history of our club, we should have won the European Cup more.“I want to win it again and get into the bracket of winners like Liverpool, our biggest rivals, Bayern Munich and Ajax.
“I think AC Milan and Real Madrid have got separated from the rest of the bunch but that definitely drives me on a bit in Europe.Ferguson has won the trophy twice during his 26 years in charge at Old Trafford. He added: “I get really frustrated when I think about the opportunities we have had to win it in the past.“But you can’t be too greedy.“I look at my career and I have won two European Cups and Cup Winners’ Cups and I am extremely proud of that.” (continues)

LAMPU PADAM ke lampu ada ke..yg penting the JOB is DONE..ekeke!! Another COMEBACK from United in last nite game againts Braga..down 1-0 and tinggal 10 minit je lagi,United skor 3 bijik utk menang 3-1 hasil jaringan dari RvP20, WR10 and JH14!! Game takde la best sangat coz padang becak plus hujan turun sepanjang game tu..so permainan kedua team lebih berhati-hati!! Man Utd aku tengok macam main nak dapatkan seri jer..bahagian tengah Ando n Giggsy tak berapa nak menjadi!! AV7 main bek kanan lak & Nani tak berapa nak idup so boleh dikatakan game tak berapa nak rancak!! Yang "RANCAK" bila lampu stadium terPADAM tiba2..ekekeke..takkan tak bayor bil letrik kot!! Apapun yg penting Man Utd dah layak kepusingan kedua and utk 2 game seterusnya bolehla letak/test 2nd team main..kalah,seri or menang United tetap TOP of the group..woohoo!!

Biasanya layan gol2 United kan..apakata kali ni layan video time lampu stadium tiba2 BLACKOUT kat Braga tu..:p!!GGMU..

UCL Result : Man Utd (3) vs Braga (2)

Man Utd Hero - The Flying Pea..

ANOTHER day and another Manchester United comeback.

Eight times they have gone behind this season — and on six occasions they have come out winners.
How far this habit can take them remains to be seen. One thing is for sure, though. It certainly makes for some entertaining games.
United have played 12 matches in the current campaign which have brought 44 goals — 15 of them for the opposition.Yet as Alex Ferguson pointed out at the weekend, they certainly have the attacking threat to dig them out of a hole.
This time it was forgotten man Javier Hernandez returning in timely fashion to star billing.

After a spectacular first season, he struggled last time round as United ended up potless. Ferguson has always thrilled at his movement in the area to sniff out an opportunity and last night it was back on display from the dangerous Mexican.

The boss will now be hoping the confidence this gives can see him return to the goalscoring form of the second half of 2010-11.Hernandez bagged a double with his head as United pulled back from two goals down after 20 minutes to take all three points.(Continues)

The COMEBACK KING...!! Kalau tak buat hati aku dug dag dug dag memang tak sah..tu la bahana menjadi penyokong Man Utd ni!! Tapi sebab tu jugakla aku masih setia and menjadi penyokong tegar United..the excitement..the thrill..the COMEBACK..its worth it wa cakap sama lu!! Pagi tadi defence ada sikit longgar coz Carrick n Evans plus Buttner yg main back four..so persefahaman tu mcm takde la!! Apa pun..walau ketinggalan 2-0 dalam 20 minit pertama di laman sendiri lagi..mcm biasa, I B.E.L.I.E.V.E Man Utd will comeback!! Buktinya, dua jaringan LITTLE PEA dan satu lagi dari Evans mengekalkan rekod 100% United dalam UCL musim ni!! So ONE more win from 3 match is enuff for Man Utd to get thru to the next round..i guess!! GGMU...

Happy family..
Today 24th October..aku nak amik kesempatan ni utk ucapkan HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Wayne  Mark Rooney yg ke 27tahun..!! Hopefully u can be another 'RYAN GIGGS' who stay with United for long long time and become UNITED LEGENDS!! GGMU again..ekeke!!

UCL Result : Man Utd (2) vs Cluj (1)

Dynamic Duo..R + R
Sir Alex Ferguson believes Robin van Persie and Wayne Rooney are ready to take Europe by storm after the deadly double act inspired Manchester United's 2-1 win over CFR Cluj in the Champions League.

Ferguson started van Persie and Rooney together for the first time in Tuesday's Group H clash in Romania and the United manager was delighted to see his two star forwards strike up an immediate understanding.

With Rooney mostly dropping deep or wide while van Persie roamed alongside Mexican striker Javier Hernandez, United had too much firepower for the Romanian champions.

Cluj had taken a shock lead when Pantelis Kapetanos punished sloppy defending from Patrice Evra and Jonny Evans to drive a low shot past David De Gea in the 14th minute.

But United were able to maintain their 100 percent start to the competition thanks to van Persie and Rooney..(Continues)

JOB WELL DONE..!! Kemenangan kali kedua United utk 2 perlawanan pertama UCL musim ni..so dah 6 poin la kan..so kalo ikut standard Sir Alex dia nak 10poin atau lebih baru bole dikira selamat utk ke pusingan seterusnya..2 more WIN dari 4 game pun dah kira cukup, just jgn over confident like last season..:p!! Seperti dalam artikel di atas..aku percaya dua player ni R10 + R20 bole menjadi the BEST TANDEM in attack for United after COLE + YORKE!! Kedua gol United adalah hasil jaringan RvP and di-assist oleh Rooney!! Memang 'pelik' gak la formasi semlm 4-3-1-2 tanpa kelibat winger,so banyak la bola tu beredar ditengah padang (boring gak ler even United conquer 70% ball possession)!! Tapi tak kisah la tu semua..asalkan WIN is the final verdict!! Next UCL game will be against Braga..hopefully United winger will be back so game akan bertambah laju@rancak and excited utk ditengok..betol tak??!! GGMU..

UCL Result : Man Utd (1) vs Galastasaray (0)

The goalscorer...MC16

MICHAEL CARRICK secured a 100th Champions League victory for Manchester United but it was far from their most convincing.

Boss Alex Ferguson had asked his team to turn Old Trafford back into a fortress.Instead, Galatasaray broke through their defences to hit the woodwork twice, were denied by a cracking double save from David De Gea and had two clear penalty shouts denied.
But win United did, through Carrick’s seventh-minute goal while they also had the luxury of Nani missing a second-half penalty — their third spot-kick miss this season. More story click here..

"WHAT A STRANGE GAME....!!" kata2 dari komentator game Man Utd pagi tadi..!! Yerla..aku pun rasa camtu gak..nak tau nape?? Apapun..WIN still a WIN...and its Sir Alex 100th Champions League WIN...the FIRST manager to do so..(cayalah BOSS)!! Aku puas ati biarpun harus berjaga pagi tadi..debaran n excitement macam ni la thats make me LOVE football and Man United..GGMU!! Check out the goal by MC16..

Five Thing We Learned in This Game..( Schalke 0 vs Man Utd 2 )!!

Manchester United's veteran winger Ryan Giggs celebrates opening the scoring against Schalke
SIR RYAN GIGGS...makin tua makin menjadi..!! :p
1) Manuel Neuer showcased why Ferguson has been linked with him
After the match Sir Alex Ferguson paid a glowing tribute to the German shot stopper, claiming it was one of the best performances he had seen against his team. Without Neuer’s imposing presence between the post, United might well have put more past Schalke, with the big keeper proving tough to beat throughout the match, making at least 8 crucial saves to deny them an opening goal or to prevent them adding to it later on.
Neuer’s commanding presence as well as his ability to stay up and make himself look big in front of United’s forwards made one-on-one situations incredibly difficult, giving him the edge and appearing to have the presence of a wall in front of his goal. Combined with his consistent play and some superb reactions saves, getting down quickly to the ball made for a night where the likes of Rooney, Hernandez and Giggs may well have wondered where a goal might come from. Perhaps, psychologically, Hernandez’s disallowed goal was the breakthrough they needed. Although it did not count, it proved he was beatable, and may have lifted the spirit of the forward line to keep persevering until an opening was found with an exquisite through ball from Rooney to Giggs to slot home coolly in the 67th minute.
2) Michael Carrick – Midfield Executive
For all the criticism that Carrick has come in for this season, of late he has given fans reasons to justify his presence within the United squad. Despite the outward appearance that many see as an anonymous figure in some games with little effect, the statistics suggest he has a vital role to play within United’s midfield.
Referring to an article on this site, entitled “The Taken for Granted Brilliance of Michael Carrick”, we find he has the greatest pass success rate of any of the starting line up, at 86.9%. Indeed, he has come in for criticism from myself regarding his effect, but one must admit the statistics do not lie, and his role of sitting in front of the back-four worked wonders on Tuesday night, as he took a commanding role in supplying the ball from midfield, able to set up play, with Rooney taking a central role in front of him allowing for greater creativity in the middle, and for Carrick to revel in his place as United’s “engine room”.
With a far stronger midfield, United were able to take control of the game, at a pace that their German counterparts simply could not keep up with. The strength of Carrick’s part in this is emphasised when we see such numbers as the fact that in the first half he made 56 passes at a 91% success rate, higher than anyone else.
3) Are Fabio and Rafael competing for the same position?
With Rafael Da Silva having been injured in recent weeks, it is understandable that having just recovered that he would not be rushed back in to action, especially when one considers the importance of the matches due to be played. This season we have seen Rafael stake his claim in the side with a string of impressive performances, displaying an attacking pedigree that makes him a real threat in the right back position, and combined with a strong attitude made for an interesting future prospect.
However, with his injury and the lack of a true right back, it has fallen upon his brother Fabio, normally a left back to take up the role. With Patrice Evra having cemented his place on the left side of defense, the opportunities afforded to Fabio have not been as regular as those for Rafael, given the availability of the right back position. But with Fabio having been given a chance to impress on the right, we have witnessed the reasons why both brothers were signed up.
Having given a very positive performance against Everton the previous Saturday, the travelling United support were treated to another highly promising outing for the Brazilian youngster, showing yet more attacking promise, getting involved in plenty of build up play, and finding himself with a couple of opportunities to make his mark on the game with his sharp runs and burst of pace. Like his brother, a natural maturity will need time to develop, such as when making tackles, but overall one must admit he has shown plenty of promise that cannot be ignored.
4) Has Ferguson found his preferred line up?
On such big occasions, the last thing United need is for defensive frailties to be exposed, or for a lack of attacking creativity to hinder their goal-scoring opportunities. On Tuesday night, one may argue that the line up the United manager sent out was exactly the one he would prefer to have available for such times. For example, Valencia and Park were deployed on the wings and in terms of their role as wingers, they are far more traditional, in the sense they tend to stick to either flank instead of roaming around with relative freedom.
This means that both Evra and Fabio behind them could be more assured that neither would be caught out on either side, particularly given Park’s and Valencia’s tendency to fall back to cover, allowing for a far more secure set up than using Nani would allow, given his tendency to cut inside and take up a “Ronaldo-type” position. It also meant that both full backs could get forward and get involved with attacking play. Of course this was helped by the fact United were rarely troubled defensively, meaning they could go forward at will without suffering any consequences, but one could not help but feel that the set up made for a far more stable unit.
Also, up front we saw more evidence of Hernandez and Rooney’s partnership continuing to blossom, each showing good link up play with the other. The young Mexican forwards energy and positioning seems to give defenders an extra worry, leaving Rooney with far more creative freedom in a central role, and was rewarded with a well timed short through ball from Hernandez to Rooney for a simple finish sealed the victory in the 69th minute. The celebration that followed showed how much they enjoy partnering up front.
5) Were United brilliant, or Schalke poor?
Simply put: a bit of both. Certainly, the German side’s midfield and defense were areas of weakness that allowed for United to take complete control in the middle of the park and for Carrick to direct play as he pleased. Schalke always seemed to be caught out by the pace at which United played the game, unable to keep up and limited there chances going forward, failing to provide much of a threat, despite the potential threat of Farfan.
The evidence of the ease of play for United is shown by the 66% possession and the 18 attempted shots as opposed to Schalke’s 8. Of course, the poor performance of Schalke would not have been exposed so much had United not made the effort. However, fans were treated to an efficient performance full of energy that showed attacking promise, and were it not for the aforementioned heroics of Neuer, it may well have been more. Such was the comfort that United were in that players could be rested early, with Park, Hernandez and Rooney all able to come off with an eye to Sunday’s clash with Arsenal. Such a luxury is a rarity in a Champion’s League clash, but was made possible by the commanding 2 goal lead that Ferguson’s men can take back to Manchester.

UCL : Man Utd 2 Chelsea 1..(Agg Man Utd won 3-1)!!

Park + Chicha = Man Utd HERO n goalscorers..:p
One down, one to go. That was the message from Rio Ferdinand after United’s 2-1 victory over Chelsea on Tuesday night.
The win, which sends the Reds through to the Champions League last four, came in the first of two huge games this week for Sir Alex’s men.
And now that the Blues from London have been vanquished, Rio’s set his sights on United’s Manchester neighbours, who the Reds meet at Wembley this Saturday in the FA Cup semi-final.
“It’s a massive week for us,” Rio told MUTV. “We’ve got one game out of the way and now we look forward to the City game on Saturday.
“It’s a huge game for the fans and the players. Fingers crossed we can be successful and make a lot of people happy.”
Should United play with as much swagger as the side mustered for long periods against Chelsea, the Reds shouldn’t be troubled by Manchester City.
“We played well, we played some really good football,” Rio said, reflecting on the Champions League win.
“People may have expected us to sit back because we were 1-0 up [after the first leg] but the manager told us to go out and play and be on the front foot and I thought we did that for most of the game.”

Yeehaa...UNITED selangkah lagi ke Wembley utk final UCL!! Walaupun banyak paper mengatakan yg Park n Chicha even Giggsy cemerlang dan merupakan HERO dalam game pagi tadi...TAPI bagi aku RIO is the UNSUNG HERO!! Sebabnya..game baru masuk beberapa belas minit Rio dah terhencut-hencut,ingatkan dia cedera and bakal dikeluarkan..BUT he keep on PLAYING till the end of the game!! Sir Alex tak nak keluarkan dia coz bagi aku dia bawak STABILITY and KETENANGAN di bahagian defence and kita bole tengok sendiri si TORRES tak dapat nak buat apa di separuh masa pertama!! Apapun..all MAN UTD players have done a GREAT job and the TREBLE DREAM is still ALIVE yo.....yeeehaaaaaa!!! GGMU..

Interesting Facts About Man Utd UCL Opponent...MARSEILLE!!

1. Marseille are the French champions but are currently 5th in Ligue 1 after winning just 7 of their 17 games this season. Still, that only puts them 4 points behind league leaders and our former CL opponents, Lille.
2. Their highest scorer this season is Loic Remy, with 6 league goals. He joined Marseille at the start of the season from Nice. Their second highest scorer is 29-year-old midfielder Lucho Gonzalez from Argentina, with 5 league goals.
3. Gabriel Heinze plays in their defence and will be making his first appearance at Old Trafford since his bitter departure in 2007. He couldn’t get in the team when Patrice Evra joined, so after trying to get a move to Liverpool, United sold him to Real Madrid at a profit. This is his second season at Marseille and the 32-year-old has made over 50 appearances for them.
4. Marseille won the Champions League in 1993 after beating AC Milan 1-0 in the final. The Milan side included Frank Rijkaard, Marco van Basten, Roberto Donadoni and a 24-year-old Paolo Maldini. Basile Boli was the goalscorer, who had headbutted Stuart Pearce in Euro 92 the year before.
5. Their manager is Didier Deschamps, who played for Chelsea, Juventus and Marseille in his career. Liverpool approached him in the summer just gone to replace Rafa Benitez, but he turned them down. He won the title in his first year in charge at Marseille, their first in 18 years. After being linked with a return to Juve, who he guided to promotion the season before, Deschamps signed a contract that will keep him at the club until 2012.
6. Marseille were in the same group as Chelsea, finishing 3 points behind them. They scored an average of 2 goals per game.
7. United were in the same group as Marseille in the 99-00 season. We beat them 2-1 at home thanks to late goals from Andy Cole and Paul Scholes. At their place we lost 1-0, with William Gallas scoring.
8. Eric Cantona is from Marseille and played for his hometown club between 1988 and 1991, although was sent out on loan twice. During a friendly for Marseille during his first season, he booted the ball in to the ground and ripped off his shirt and threw it to the ground after being substituted. He was banned for a month.

Anderson Manchester United Champions League
Ando the Scorer

Manchester United blew their chance at history but won UEFA Champions Group C with a 1-1 home draw with Valencia.
Pablo Hernandez's scored on 32 minutes to end United's hopes of becoming the first club to qualify out of the group stage of the tournament without conceding a goal.
But Andersen at least ensured Sir Alex Ferguson's side finished top of the group - and avoided potential clashes with Barcelona and Real Madrid in the knock-out stage - with a 62nd minute equaliser after the Red Devils had spurned a host of good opportunities.
Ferguson caused a surprise when handing 20-year-old keeper Ben Amos his Champions League debut in a near full-strength side.
Nani had the first shot on goal but his effort from just outside the area on four minutes went just wide of Vicente Guaita's left post.
-reports from skysports.com
No Clean Sheet BUT still UNBEATEN...yeehaa!! Game tadi best gak la walaupun MU hanya mampu draw. Kalau keeper diorang tak perform and Berbatop dapat sempurnakan peluang yang ada maybe MU bole menang 4-1..gol Valencia pun hasil kesilapan Carrick, kalau tak RECORD akan tercipta!! Anyway, MU top of the group and peluang utk ke suku akhir nampak cerah..GGMU to all!! Full reports click here..

Rangers 0 Man Utd 1 (UCL)

 Rooney's  BACK!!!
Wayne Rooney scored a late penalty - only his third goal in 23 matches - to send Manchester United into the round-of-16 in the Champions League with a 1-0 victory over Rangers at Ibrox. Just when it looked as though the Scottish side were set to frustrate United for the second time in the tournament, Rooney struck after Fabio had been felled by Steven Naismith.
All eyes were on Rooney - making his first start since a dramatic U-turn over his future - before kick-off, but he was a peripheral figure during a first half that followed the pattern of the previous match between the sides. Rangers set up camp on the edge of their own area and invited United to find a way through the imposing wall of blue shirts.
They couldn't manage it in the opening 45 minutes - the closest they came was when Rooney glanced a header onto the crossbar - and the best two chances fell to the home side, as Kenny Miller - twice - failed to show the composure required to steer the ball past Edwin van der Sar. First the Scottish striker looped a header wide of the post when unmarked six yards out, then he poked a shot at the Dutch 'keeper's legs when clean through on goal.
The stage was set for United to make a statement of intent in the second half as they looked to ignite a season that has yet to scale the heights. They laid down a marker with two dangerous attempts in the opening 15 minutes as Carrick and Berbatov stung the palms of Scottish 'keeper Allan McGregor, reportedly a target for Sir Alex Ferguson.
But United were unable to sustain that momentum, with wild attempts on goal from well outside the penalty area betraying their difficulties. Just when it seemed as though they would be forced to settle for a draw, Naismith's boot made contact with Fabio's face in the area as he stooped to head the ball. Rooney scored the spot-kick, meaning United will now top the group if they avoid defeat in their final game at home to Valencia.
-reports from espn.co.uk
Yeahhaaaa....Wayne Rooney is back with a goal and he played with hunger!!! So lepas ni Man Utd boleh la relax sikit coz telah layak utk ke pusingan kedua Februari nanti!!Hope to see more of Wayne Rooney after this game..Glory glory Man Utd!!
